7:00 pm: Gil and I got out and drove through the neighborhood a little bit this evening to return some movies we had rented and man-oh-man! This is a heavy, wet, and destructive snow. There are so many trees that are broken and down, not just bent and hanging, but literally snapped. We saw one tree that split right down the middle of the main trunk. Many people have been out of power. Tomorrow, it's supposed to warm up to near 40 and the next day even more, so we're going to have a big, soupy mess on our hands.

My flower barrels, now almost completely buried.
The patio furniture shows the biggest difference... I'd guess about a foot of snow.
The dogs love the snow and here they are playing. You can see Arrow checking out a snowball that Gil had thrown at them.

Fortunately our tree branches broke off into the middle of the yard and not onto the power lines, our house, or other property. We drove around today taking in the damage as well.
I'm so jealous! You have more snow then me and 3 beautiful huskies!!!!
Woke up in Helena yesterday morning to 19 degree weather and 4-5 inches of snow. BRRRRR, but we got home to 46 degrees and sun! It doesn't look like it'll snow too soon. The weekend is supposed to be wonderful. Love the pics! Snow and huskies, awesome!
Love, Mom
